Mansi Goel, British Indian
“I’m a British Indian, and my South Asian heritage is a big part of who I am. I practice Hinduism, which guides how I live. My foremost belief centres around humanity, kindness, respect, and empathy.
“My roots aren’t just something from the past; they shape every part of my life, including my role in the network. From special outfits to important times, my South Asian heritage reminds me of the good things about tradition and values.”
“The South Asian food, full of flavours and spices, reminds me of home no matter where I am. I really relish wearing colourful Indian clothes, especially during weddings and gatherings with family. These moments of togetherness and laughter create strong bonds that last.
“Here in the UK, I keep my values close through daily prayers and my belief in karma and a higher power. The intricacy of temples and architecture captivates me, fostering a connection to our rich history. This connection led me to co-chair the KPMG South Asian Network as Mansi Goel, where we celebrate our heritage and provide support to each other.
