Simon is a procurement professional (MCIPS) with over 20 years’ sector experience with a structural profile / background with proven successful delivery within the following areas; Professional services, consultancy, project delivery, transport advisory sector, central government, NHS, clinical trials, social housing, local government & council, retail, manufacturing, mail order, SME’s and charitable services. Simon leads and oversees a team of 9 Operational Buyers managing a PO commitment of £280M (FY22) across 1200 projects and circa 300 clients across Europe with access to over 30,000 registered suppliers. Aligning with the corporate strategy, enabling business performance, pursuing client satisfaction and leading regional consistency through Portfolio Governance and active risk management. Simon has the responsibility and ownership of establishing roles and processes for procurement across the region including direct and indirect expenditure ensuring that will follow due diligence and qualify suppliers in a fair and consistent manner.
