What is the Maturity Matrix?
The Matrix is a tool that asks a series of questions about the organisation’s business practices.

The Matrix uses the answers to these questions to score and rate the organisation’s current standing. By completing the checklist, organisations are also given bespoke, practical, and easy to follow suggestions on how to improve the organisation’s inclusion efforts. This is done through a points scoring system based on a checklist you fill out about your organisation’s current ethnicity work. We also use the Matrix as a benchmarking tool against other and their behaviours to allow us to determine best practice, and your personal areas for improvement.
OBJECTIVES FOR ORGANISATIONS
REPORTS
After submission, all organisations will receive a basic report giving overall category and sub-category scores in comparison to overall averages. Investing In Ethnicity Members receive a full report. If you would like a full report, please enquire about becoming a member.
BASIC REPORT
Everyone that completes and submits the Maturity Matrix receives a basic report and accreditation certificate. This report reveals their scores broken down in each of the 6 categories and what level employer they are (see above).
ADVANCED REPORT
For Investing In Ethnicity Members, we provide a detailed report showing their scores compared across the sector. Members also receive a 60 minute consultation on their submission offering bespoke recommendations on how to take the work they’ve done and progress to the next level.
